The quick, easy answer as to why I train with Adam because I'm hooked! It's fun, and I see results.

My "addiction" started because of lower back problems. I thought I would have to give up challenging fitness routines and would be stuck with mundane workouts so my back wouldn't hurt. My physical therapist at Rocky Mountain Spine and Sport referred me to Tessera Performance. Adam was able to customize my workout so that I worked hard, while still protecting my back. Unfortunately, I was unable to avoid back surgery, but my doctor commented on what Adam was able to help me achieve in terms of general fitness and muscle tone - even with back problems. He was amazed at how quickly I recovered after the surgery, all because I was in decent shape. Adam helped me gradually work back into my training routine by first using Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) and then started a resistance training program that was safe and effective. Today, you'd never guess that I had the surgery. I am back in the swing, I feel stronger and more fit than ever. (My family does get a bit tired of me flexing for them, however, and some friends acuse me of wearing sleeveless tops just to show off!)

Adam Bratten has impacted my volleyball game and my life in so many uplifting ways. He has helped, inspired and encouraged me to strengthen my body both physically and mentally. In volleyball, I may be on the shorter side in terms of height, but Adam has never treated me with any kind of physical deficiencies. He has properly trained my body so I could increase my vertical jump by over 5 inches and at tryouts complete 70 push-ups! He constantly challenges me to reach new levels of training even when I don't think I can physically do it. Adam has broadened my horizons in terms of training my own body. He has helped me to visually see what I am capable of doing, and I truly believe I would have never reached my accomplishments if it wasn't for his constant strong support of me as an athlete and a student in training. Adam exudes confidence each and every time I am training with him and I believe this rubs off on to me. I feel more confident both on the volleyball court, in the classroom, and in my daily life as a teenager. Along with my parents, Adam is my biggest support. He is and will always be a very important part of my life. I am thankful that my club coach at 13's, Kirk Rowland, brought Adam into our volleyball gym. I believe this is when my true training as an athlete began. I thank Adam each and every day for his support, the work ethic he expects of me, and the training he creates each and every time I'm in his gym.
